S.S. FINGAL
WW1
S.S. Fingal was sunk on 15 March 1915 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-23 approximately 6 nautical miles East by South of Coquet Island. She was en route from London to Leith. Six out of the crew of 27 were killed in the attack.
WW2
Damaged by bombing in December 1941 but repaired. She was later sunk on 5 May 1943 by torpedoes fired by Japanese submarine I-180. Overall 12 crew members were killed - the others presumably Norwegians.
